What I do

Work

As Operations Lead for AMD Silo AI I am responsible for operational excellence across Silo’s engineering teams who are developing leading edge AI solutions. My job is to design ways of working and build support systems that let our engineers focus on the engineering and minimize any bureaucracy. With AI everywhere, we’re rethinking what that looks like in practice.

Lead with AI

As a side hustle I organize AI retreats for women in leadership positions with my dear friend & fellow AI geek Emma Storbacka. The technical barriers to building with AI have collapsed, and I want more women to get involved in how this technology gets shaped. Our retreats have a strong focus on hands-on building and building connections with forward-thinking leaders.

Lean Life

As a process optimization nerd I am obsessed with creating the leanest systems possible to efficiently manage everyday tasks and thus maximize the time available for fun stuff. Subscribe to my Substack to get the latest updates on my experiments with AI. You can also check out the original Lean Life blog I wrote with my husband Tommi and the Lean Life podcast I did as a maternity leave project.

Community building

I love meeting new people, building communities and connecting people to one another. Lately that has meant e.g. coaching and volunteering in my son's football team (including organizing two 70-person trips to Tallinn for Saku Cup), women's sauna evenings, and dinners mixing people from different social bubbles around one topic. I’ve also built a webpage for families with kids in our neighborhood.

Mentoring

Back in the day I was a founding member of Aalto Women in Business, a network for young ambitious women focused on providing both inspiration and peer support through a variety of events. Later on I’ve focused on providing mentoring and workshops to different groups who need and deserve an extra boost (e.g. people of color, foreigners navigating Finnish working life).
